In prior versions of Fusion, I could select a file in Finder, right-click to display the context menu, select Open With, and then select "Microsoft Excel - Windows 10" and it would activate the VM window, open excel, and open the file successfully.
Now, with this latest Fusion version 10, it sometimes does and sometimes doesn't. Each time, the action does activate the Windows VM and bring it into focus, but does not finish the job by opening Excel and loading the desired file (again, which was selected in Finder). This occurs on two different macs, a MacPro running Sierra, and a MacBook Pro running High Sierra.
Also, on those rare occasions when it does work, then a few hours later it seems to break and suddenly no longer works. It seems as if some connection is getting lost or faded, and the system is not refreshing it.
