I have a VM in vSphere 5 and vCenter5 on ESXi5 . It has multiple snapshots and has exhibited "strange behaviours". I'd like to somehow create another VM with its VMDK/VMX files but need to know if the snapshots will be a problem. I know performing many operations in VMware with snapshots is prohibited. I also know that the normal cloning can not be done with snapshots. It there "any" way to build another VM with the existing VMDK and VMX files from a powered on VM?
