Manual start of iddle memory reclamation / forced memory ballooning.

Hi, vEXperts and vGurus.

Is there any way to force idle memory reclamation or inflate ballon manually inside VM?

There are some Windows VMs I have on a ESXi host and there is a lot of unused memory resources on the ESXi host. There is no memory pressure so, memory reclamation doesn't occur. In described situation VMs consume all configured memory. These VMs have to be switched on but there is no any activity inside so Active memory on these VMs is very low. Each VM has 16 Gb of configured memory but active memory is about 500-800 Mb only. Sometimes a set of processes starts in each of VMs and active memory increases for short-term period. But almost all time active memory is very low. I would like to reduce memory consumed by these VMs as much as possible not using memory limits. Ideally I would like to inflate balloon in GOS and keep it inflated as long as it needs.

Is there any way to do this?

Thanks in advance.
