Socket and core value

Dear Team,

I want to create one VM where we need to set 16 cores. I have query related to cores and socket.

what will be the number of virtual socket needs to select

and what will be the number of cores per socket needs to be select

need your assistance on the same.

Note: on blade server we have 2 socket 16 core.
