Host machine OS: Linux Centos 7
VMware: Workstation 11
I have created two "core" VMs, one is Windows Server 2008 R2 and the second is Windows Server 2012 R2. The "core" image has only the OS installed.
I then cloned these "core" VMs into three "base" images. Base 1 (Windows Server 2012 R2) has SQL 2012 installed, Base 2 (Windows Server 2012 R2) has SQL 2014 installed and Base 3 (Windows Server 2008 R2) has SQL 2008 installed
I'm having an issue where the Windows Server 2012 R2 images are showing as No Internet Connection. The Windows Server 2008 R2, however, does have internet connection.
I verified that the configuration for IIS, etc., for the Server 2012 images are as close as possible to the Server 2008 R2 image.
All of the VMs are connecting to the company's network but it seems that this No Internet Connection is causing me some issues when I'm installing some products on these images.
The topics that I have found while researching this issue all seem to assume that all VMs are not connecting to the internet when that's not the case for me.
I'm looking for suggestions on things I can try to get the Server 2012 images to connect to the internet.
