Vmware Esxi 6.5 autostart

Dear reader,

First, I want to thank you for your interest in this topic.

I have VMware ESXI version 6.5 and build number 4564106

I'm running 2 vm's. One WIndows VM and one Linux vm.

When I set the VM's to autoboot and reboot the server It will only boot the Windows machine. There is no way Linux will boot.

I checked and changed the priority and that is not resolving the issue.

When I; after flipping and turning on and off the  autoboot option finally was able to boot Linux first, windows does not want to boot.

What am I doing wrong?

Why can't they both just boot?

Who can help me out on this one?

With kind regards,

Winos
